Synopsis
Mentoring is important to TAFE Queensland and your contribution matters. This self-paced course is open to all staff interested in mentoring.Unit Overview
By working through the content and completing the learning activities in this Professional Development (PD) course you will:
• Gain a better understanding of the mentoring types, benefits, challenges and success factors.
• Understand the mentoring cycle and mentoring process in TAFE Queensland.
• Gain access to useful templates to help guide you through a mentor partnership.
• Become a member of a Community of Practice in Microsoft Teams called the TQ Mentoring Hub.
• Have an opportunity to explore the RPL process for TAEDEL404 Mentor in the Workplace.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please ensure you use your TAFE Queensland Staff ID and password to enrol into these units. These are the details (credentials) that you use to log in to your work PC each day. Please do not use a TAFE Queensland Student ID.
